This enrolling book, 1863-1864, kept by Charles Parkhill (b. 1845), contains the names of enlistees enrolled by Samuel Thomas Bayly (1830-1872) in Richmond, Va. The volume also includes special orders assigning enlistees to their units, and a muster roll of horses and equipment.
